An All-Monroe County 10U Slowpitch Girls Tournament Team. 24/7 Softball, finished third in the USSSA Slow Pitch 10U World Series Tournament, held July 16-19 in Tupelo. Gabby Hall and Memrie Laney, were named to the All-Tournament Team and the entire team was awarded the Sportsmanship Award. It was the first time the event was held in Mississippi. Monroe s team was sponsored by Chad Hall of Hall Contracting out of Amory with players from Amory, Hatley, Smithville and Aberdeen. Gabby is the daughter of Chad Hall and Tina Pinkerton and Memrie is the daughter of Callie Laney and Amber Rowland, all of Amory. The team also finished second in a Monroe County tournament over the summer. Add Walnut at Hatley to the list pf games to be played tomorrow instead of Friday. The only two Monroe County teams with Friday night games are Amory (hosting Louisville) and Hamilton (hosting George).
