AMORY – Greg Allen has joined the Amory Banking Center as President.

“Greg is a native of Amory and we are pleased to welcome him into our family,” said Jeff Whittington, Cadence Bank State Executive. “He brings a background of strong leadership and service, which will be a great asset to our customers and the bank as a whole.”

Allen brings an extensive background in retail credit and previously served in several executive level positions with major corporations in the financial services arena over the past 20 years. Prior to joining Cadence Bank, Allen served as Senior Operating partner with Benchmark Mortgage of La., located in the New Orleans area.

Allen attended the School of Consumer Credit Management at the University of North Carolina and Marquette University. He then continued his education at Saint Leo University. He served with honors in the United States Marine Corps where he received the Governors Citation Award.

He and his wife, Cindy, have two children, Lee and Blake, and are excited to become active in the Amory community.
