Tony Davis, 44, was arraigned in Monroe County Circuit Court Monday by Judge James L. Roberts. Davis is charged with the capital murder of Monroe County woman Judy Eileen Jones, who was found murdered in 2002.

Davis' trial is set to begin in February 2010.

On February 19, 2002, Jones was found deceased at her residence on Athens Quincy Road in Monroe County. During the last grand jury term, the Monroe County Grand Jury returned an indictment on Davis for the capital murder of Jones.

Davis is currently serving a prison sentence for statutory rape that occurred in Monroe County.
